Jacks or Better Poker
From High Roller Guides
Jacks or Better is the most common variation of video poker available. Jacks or Better is a standard video poker game where you play against the machine as opposed to other players. The main object of the game is to get valuable hand combinations and payouts begin when you are dealt a hand of Jacks or Better (as the name of the game suggests) and increase as the value of your hand increases. There are no wild cards in this particular game and the maximum payout is 4,000 coins.
The game begins when you get dealt 5 cards by clicking on the ‘deal’ icon – the computer automatically highlights the cards it thinks you should hold(the valuable cards) however you can choose which cards you want to hold and which you want to discard by clicking on the specific card. Once you decide you subsequently click on the ‘draw’ icon and wait to see which hand you have completed and your payout varies accordingly. It’s that easy…
Remember you can bet with either one, two, three, four or five coins. The choice is yours. In order to qualify for the maximum payout of 4000 coins however you must play with the maximum five coins. Also you can vary the coin denomination you play with. The smallest size coin is 25 cents and the largest size coin is 5 dollars. The minimum bet per game is 25 cent (1 coin x 25 cents) and the maximum bet is 25 dollars (5 coins x 5 dollars).
