Blackjack switch is a blackjack variant which allows the player to do what is normally considered a classic cheating maneuver, trading cards between two hands. The player must make two bets of equal size and is allowed to switch the second card dealt to each hand. Of course nothing comes free, a dealer 22 results in a push and blackjacks pay even money.

[edit] How To Play
- Select a chip by clicking on it. Now click on a bet area to increase your bet by the chip amount. Every click on the bet area increases your bet, every right-click decreases your bet.
- There are two kinds of bet areas - normal and 'Super Match' bet. Normal bet area is any of the two larger areas, 'Super Match' bet area is the small area. Remember that by clicking on the normal bet area, you actually place two identical bets - one for each of your hands.
- After you have placed your bets, click the Deal button.
- Use the Hit, Stand, Double, Split,Insurance and Switch buttons as required.
- Please note that if you want to Switch, you need to do so before starting to play your first hand. After using Hit, Split, Double or Insurance buttons, you cannot Switch. Also please note that Insurance, Double and Split buttons require an additional wager, as described in the rules. You are not able to use these buttons, if you do not have sufficient balance.
- If you want to play another round, press New Game. Then place a bet as described above and click the Deal button, or click Rebet to place the same bet as in the previous round.
Super Match: This is an optional bet, you do not need to place a super bet to play the game. To place a super bet, place the chip(s) in the small circle between the normal bet areas. Super bet wins if your 4 initial cards contain 2 or more cards of the same kind (pair of Jacks, three Aces etc.) The win ratios are written on the table.
[edit] Rules
- All rules are based on conventional blackjack unless otherwise noted.
- Six or eight decks are used.
- Dealer hits a soft 17.
- The player must make two bets of equal size.
- Cards will be dealt face up.
- Dealer will peek for blackjack with an ace or ten up. If the dealer has a blackjack all player hands will immediatley lose, except a player blackjack will push.
- The player may switch the second card dealt to each hand. For example, if one hand has 5,10 and the other has 10,6, the player may switch the 10 and 6 to have two hands of 11 and 20. The player may also switch cards to form a blackjack.
- Player may double on any 2 cards.
- Player may double after a split.
- Player may resplit up to four hands.
- Winning player blackjacks pay even money.
- A dealer total of 22 will push against any player total of 21 or less. A player blackjack will still beat a dealer 22.
[edit] Tips
- If there is a bonus bet, do not play it. You will lose this bet more often than you will win it. It is nice to win the extra money, but unless you are very lucky, the occasional wins (which only come on a Blackjack) will likely not make up for the numerous lost bets.
- Remember that unlike regular Blackjack, Switch only pays 1:1 odds on a Blackjack, since switching cards increases your chances of winning. Keep this in mind when betting.
- Insurance is NOT recommended because of the high house advantage
- As with any gambling game, only increase your bets if you are winning.
- Remember that the decks are shuffled after every game in Switch, so card counting is futile.
[edit] Strategy Chart
You can use the chart below to plot your play while playing at a six-deck online casino Blackjack Switch game. Though it is comprehensive, it is by no means fool-proof. Luck does play into some hands, so remember that this chart will definitely improve your play but will not guarantee a win.
